A charming place with lovely rooms, decent parking, and a fun quiz night! The food was superb, especially the lamb curry. It's a joy to find such a cozy spot in the countryside.
The bed was creakier than a haunted house at midnight. I felt like I was auditioning for a musical every time I turned!

The service here was stellar. the staff went above and beyond, especially when they called to remind us about items we left behind. I loved the cozy atmosphere during the pub quiz night, which added to the fun of our stay. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a fantastic variety that truly filled us up for the day ahead. the noise from the main road did disrupt my sleep a bit, so a quieter room option would have been ideal.

pleasant stay but room could be improved
The family room provided ample space for our group, making our stay comfortable. The breakfast served each morning was flavorful and freshly prepared, setting a great tone for the day.
The bathroom in our room could use some updates to match the overall cleanliness of the rest of the inn.

Highly recommend for a couple's getaway
Room was decent, spacious with nice wooden floors. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful & accommodating, even went out of their way to ring us about some stuff we forgot. The food was great, really great, it felt like a proper meal. We had dinner and it was the best steak pie I’ve had in ages, comforting and filling for the winter nights. The location was perfect for what we were looking for, just a short drive from lovely places in the Dales.
It wasn’t cheap, but still acceptable for the quality we received.
